There is now an updated list of offerings in our church library. Joan Berry has updated and categorized the list of over 200 books.

Check out Library Whispers on the web. A place to suggest or complain, or get information (Section I) and a place to share your current reading in hopes of a conversation with others – even beyond the church via etalk if they find us (Section II).

WANTED: We have so many new donations, we need HELP. Do you have time while your child is in choir or your spouse comes to do his/her ‘thing’ at the church? We need hands to stamp books, put pockets in the back, color coding books by topic, and put book plates in donated items. Want to do more? Let me know and we’ll find just the right way for you to contribute your mite or more.

Also, we’re looking for a ROCKING CHAIR, CHILD’S CHAIR, FLOOR LAMP, and SMALL
SIDE TABLE for the alcove to enhance your browsing experience. Additionally, we’ve added a stack of reservation slips. If you see something you want to check out just put your name and a means of contact and put the slip in the book. When it goes into circulation, you will be the first to know so you can come and check it out.

You’ll notice that the table has changed. A new set of books – shelve the old and on with some new! This new group of books and many others in reserve came from the private library of Rev. Ellenberger. Do you wonder what the places Jesus knew probably looked like? Check out The Land of Jesus (on the book stand). It contains some lovely and informative pictures of the Holy Land and relates them to biblical passages.
