REFORMATION QUESTIONS, REFORMATION ANSWERS What do you know about the Reformation?  Did you know this year is the 500th anniversary of this church-changing event?  How many theses did Luther post (or not post) on the door of the castle church at Wittenberg, Germany?  These, and many other questions about the Reformation, will be answered in a four class session for adults on Sunday mornings at 10:45 a.m. in October leading up to Reformation Sunday on October 29.  The basis of our study will be a book called:  Reformation Questions, Reformation Answers, 95 Key Events, People, & Issues by Donald K. Film and Discussion, Sunday, October 1 from 2:30 - 4:30 pm in the Sanctuary  I Am Not Your Negro is a profound award-winning  documentary elucidating author James Baldwin's perception of race and inequality in modern America. The film is narrated by Samuel L. SPIRITED SISTERS The Spirited Sisters Saturday Morning Women's Group will begin meeting in the fall starting September 23rd at 9:am in the Marshall Room. This fall's Bible study is "Who is Jesus? What a Difference a Lens Makes," published by the Presbyterian Women.  The group meets twice a month, and we determine rest of our schedule at the first meeting. SEEKING REFUGE SMALL BOOK GROUP This fall we will resume our book study Seeking Refuge from last spring. This will take place on Tuesdays, 10/24, 11/7 and 11/14, 7pm. NEXT Equipping the Saints: The Theology in Our Songs Have you ever been singing along to a song on the radio and suddenly realized what you were singing? Sometimes we love songs because of their tunes and don't pay attention to their lyrics. This also happens with our worship songs. What are we saying we believe when we sing certain songs?
