Sunday Services

Inspiring services connect us with the timeless Word of God, celebrating the love of God through worship.  We welcome all God's children as brothers and sisters in Christ by being open-hearted and open-minded.

Regular Sunday services are postponed until further notice, due to COVID-19 mitigation.
You are warmly invited to attend a service at one of the three options above.

Choir Led Service at 9:30am
Band Led Service at 11:00am

Sunday School and nursery:
provided during both services

WELCOME! Thank you for worshiping with us! It is our hope and prayer that you will sense our welcome and God’s presence. Especially if you are a first time visitor, we want to do everything we can to help you feel comfortable. Below are a few questions that will hopefully ease your mind and relieve that “new church” stress that so many of us feel when we are exploring a new place - especially a place of worship!

Ark and Dove Presbyterian Church
8424 Piney Orchard Parkway
Odenton, MD 21113

ph: 410-674-6400

All facilities at Ark and Dove are fully accessible. No steps are needed to access the building, and, if needed, a lift is available to access the raised platform in the sanctuary.

Come as you are! You are welcome to dress casually when you come to Ark and Dove. We want you to feel welcome and right at home when you step into the church. If you would prefer to dress up, you are welcome to do so, as there are members and guests that dress up, as well as those that come casually. Please don’t worry about your attire! You are guests in God’s church!

We delight in being a multigenerational community and joyfully welcome all ages in our worship.  Toward the beginning of service, a worship leader will give a Children’s Message in which all the children are asked to come forward. If they feel comfortable, they are welcome to come forward or you are welcome to bring them up. At the end of the message, the children may remain with you in church or go Sunday School or our child care program for infants and toddlers.  You’ll also find that activity bags are available for children during the worship hour when they do not attend Sunday School.

Sunday School is available year round at both the 9:30 am Traditional and 11:00 am Contemporary Worship Services. The schedule will vary during the summer months, so please check out the Youth Activities page!

Nursery care, for children five and under, is available at both the 9:30 am and 11:00 am Worship Services.

Amanda Crose is our Nursery Coordinator. Amanda strives to provide a safe, clean and stimulating environment for infants and children ages five and under. She is background checked and finger printed at the state and federal levels. She is also CPR and first aid certified. Amanda has received a bachelors in education from Eastern Michigan University, a masters in education from Walden Univeraity, and is currently a doctoral candidate at Walden University. She has taught pre-kindergarten and kindergarten and currently works as a nanny. You may meet Amanda's children Quentin and Frankie on Sundays!

Please feel free to share your childcare needs and preferences with Amanda. She is happy to accommodate!
